Conclusion: No more climbing over the couch to turn on the light

Review: The electrician that wired our condo must have been lazy as most of the switches in our place control outlets that are located less than 5 feet away from them. We also have switches that we can't figure out what they control (probably the neighbors garage). Our current living room light is located in the area between our two couches plugged into an outlet which of course does not have a switch associated with it. This product solved that problem. The switch housing is a little bulky but not a big deal at all. There are two install options: adhesive tape and two small screws. I went ahead and used the screws. Install is a breeze. Plug the unit into the outlet, plug the device into the unit and place the switch on the desired location of your wall. I placed the switch about 15 feet from the unit and it works flawlessly. This is a great product and I would highly recommend it if you're in a similar "switchless" situation.

Conclusion: It broke after 63 days -- 3 days out of warranty

Review: This item worked fine for 62 days. On the 63rd day I flipped it off a bit too quickly after I flipped it on -- not that this should matter -- and then it wouldn't turn off after I turned it on again. I disconnected everything; it didn't help. I took out the battery, then reinserted it, then reconnected everything. It turned the light on again -- but then it wouldn't turn off (again). So I found the warranty, and discovered that it expired... 3 days ago!

This is a product that fulfills its warranty period of being guaranteed to last at least 60 days -- and not one week more -- certainly the shortest warranty of any consumer product I have ever bought. Even if it had failed before the end of the warranty, I'd have to pay return shipping AND $6.50 to replace it (that fee is probably double what it costs them to manufacture it). Don't waste your money!

Conclusion: Do not buy.

Review: It was nice while it lasted, which was not long. Nice concept if they would put more effort into making sure it would work as promised. I do not recommend this product. I wasted my money.

Conclusion: worked for one day

Review: The wireless light switch is a great idea. I moved into a new place that has a living room with no light switches which made this a must have.
I do not recommend buying this brand. It stopped working after a day of use.Go to Lowes and buy the one they have. It costs a little more but works, and there is no power delay like the Handy switch has.

Conclusion: My rating of the Handy switch

Review: It works fine if it is at line of sight but when thier is a obstruction it cuts the signal down a lot. 60 feet is way over kill.
