Conclusion: Be careful of the price! Review: The easyshare printer list price from Kodak is only 79.99. There are other sources charging approximately the same price, but the current vendor listed through amazon is charging over $300!
Don't get ripped off! Check Kodak first to confirm the price is reasonable.

Conclusion: Cheap piece of junk that doesn't work (and I bought TWO!) Review: My actual rating is ZERO STARS. I was stupid enough to buy a second one and neither of them would feed paper and Kodak support is USELESS. Here's what happened...
I bought this printer dock along with a camera and supplies in Dec 2007 for my wife. She used it maybe three times all year and it seemed to work OK. We go to use it in Nov 2008 and it won't feed the paper.
I read through the troubleshooting section of manual and do everything it says to do - twice. No success. I contact Kodak support and the guy has me do it all over again. No success. Then he tells me that the warranty is up (it was supposed to be 12 months!) and that I could return it for service for only $[...] - yeah, right.
I didn't want to just throw away all the supplies I bought for this thing, so (foolish me) I found it online at [...] for only $[...] and bought a brand new one. It wouldn't feed paper either. Kodak support gives me the same line, the same run-around, and ecost.com says I have to deal with the manufacturer. So now it looks like I'm stuck with TWO of these useless, crappy, thin plastic pieces of junk and I'm out about $[...] in all.
Don't waste your money on this. I'm off to buy a Canon Pixma instead. AAAARRRGGGHHH!

Conclusion: Can't just buy ink!!!! Review: The printer works good, but I found out quickly that you can not just buy the ink cartridge. I find this VERY annoying considering I have plenty of photo paper and just need the ink, but the only way to purchase an ink cartidge for the printer is to buy the paper too!Something they "forget" to mention!!! Aggg.....so annoying!

Conclusion: Bought it mainly for the battery charging feature (for z712) Review: I bought the Docking station g610 Kodak EasyShare G610 Printer Dock and found out after I brought it home and read the instruction book, it requires a specific battery.
Not the battery that ships with the z712 camera. (The CV3 battery is not recharge-able.)
You'll need the Kodak 8324154 KLIC-8000 Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery for Z612 Camera ($25 on Amazon.)
or the equivalent battery version Kodak DLK-8000 Equivalent Li-ion Battery by Lenmar ($10 on Amazon.)
The sample paper includes 5 sheets. You'll get the ink cartridge is low message, but it will still print. According to the brochure inside, the ink included with the paper kits should last for all the sheets included in the kit.
It takes 4 passes for a single print. You'll need room in back of the docking station to allow the paper to partially eject for the print passes. There is also a feature to print wallet size photos, it will divvy up the 6x4 paper into yearbook sized copies.
I bought extra paper with the g610. Kodak 1410596 G50 Paper Kit, 50 4 x6 Sheets, Ink Cartridge ($20 on Amazon, no free shipping on this item.)
And you need a USB 2.0 cable to connect it to your PC. Belkin Pro Series USB 2.0 Device Cable (USB A/USB B, 10 Feet) For $5.84 on Amazon, this price is a steal. Most stores, a USB cable is $20 or more.

Conclusion: 610 works great Review: I bought this printer, and it works flawlessly. Yes it only comes with a 5 page starter bundle. Ok, I bought the G200 picture pack for $54.00, free delivery, no tax. That works out to $ .27 per picture. Hey hop in your SUV spend $4.00 in gas to print 12 pictures at the kiosk at 15 cents a piece. times change, at a party, take some pictures, and print as many as you want for the family, and avoid the cost of 41 cents per stamp to mail to family. This printer really saves time and money. ps you can get this printer for about $65 from other linked vendors.
