Conclusion: Broke in 6 months
Review: Poor design... pins that contact batter very fragile and broke off after 6 months of use. Strange design with base, adapter and long cord that should just be one unit. Very bulky for travel. Don't waste your money on this product.
I replaced it with a Power 2000 RTC-148 Charger for Kodak KLIC-8000. The Power 2000 is well designed and less than 10 bucks! Sturdy contact pins and folding plug on back, came with euro adapter and car adapter. Much better product overall and great for travel!

Review: I purchased this for an elderly neighbor who had bought a great camera but had no idea what all the stuff in the box was for so she had lost the original firewire and charger. We couldn't find it in any local stores or camera shop. Comes with all of the international adapters which we didn't need. Anyway, she can charge her battery now and use the camera.
