Review: My last Canon was stolen from our car so I needed to get another. I upgraded to this SD870IS model and am delighted that the viewer is larger and takes crystal clear photos. Love the portable purse-perfect size.

Review: My third of these cameras to buy for myself and family members. The wide screen lens takes excellent landscapes while the face tracking and automatic exposure makes portraits and candid shots a breeze. The LCD display is one of the best I've ever seen.

Conclusion: Canon PowerShot 870IS
Review: The Canon PowerShot 870IS is my 3rd Canon PowerShot camera within 5 years. It is by far the best Canon camera that I have ever owned. This 8 megapixel camera delivers excellent photos and features for it's small size. After extensive research, I was thoroughly impressed with every feature, including the battery life (1 week on a single charge). The only feature that is missing from this camera (which I do not need anyway) is an optical view finder. The large LCD back screen is the only available view finder for this camera.
