Conclusion: Genuine Leica Accessory but NOT the Leica quality you expect.
Review: Pros:
* It fits the Leica C-LUX 2
Cons:
* The performance of the battery is significantly lower than the Leica battery that comes with the camera.
* The case makes the camera bulky to carry in your pocket. It more than doubles the thickness.
* The case can only carry the camera despite increasing the size.
* The quality of the leather is cheap. (I'm not sure it is leather)
* The packaging has Leica branding on the outside. Neither the case nor the battery has any Leica branding. The product description does say it is a Hahnel battery. I expected similar performance as the Leica.
Avoid it. I ended up buying a case logic case which was sporty and offered good protection.
I got this kit free when I purchased the Leica C-LUX 2.
