Conclusion: A good price, but not the best performance Review: Where the price was good enough to try, I would not buy this product again. Of the 4 cartridges, two were problematic - one was identified as yellow, but was filled with magenta. The magenta cartridge did not work when installed - even after multiple shaking.
I will lean toward HP products in the future.

Conclusion: Just Terrible! Review: Terrible quality & service. 3 out of the 4 cartridges were defective/leaked toner. I ordered a replacement on the first one & customer service was terrible also. Had to keep on them to get the billing right. After that I just gave up on trying to exchange the others & suffered through them. I hate to pay the price but have been using hp originals ever since with no problems. You really do get what you pay for.

Conclusion: Misleading yield information Review: The product information indicates that there is a yield of 5,000 pages. If you look at any other toner, the yield is per cartridge. If it is for a set, then the number indicates how many pages you can expect at a certain coverage. For HP brand toner, the yield is 2,000 for color and 2,500 for black. If you buy a set of HP brand toner, you can expect to get about 2,000 pages - you typically use all four colors for color printing.
This MIPO set indicates a yield of 5,000 pages. I just installed the three colors and my printer tells me I have 999 pages left. I haven't installed the black cartridge yet, but it is obvious that they have inaccurately listed the combined total of pages you can get from the set -- this is misleading, it is not consistent with how anyone else does it, and it isn't even correct (assuming the black also has 999 pages).
This same supplier has another generic set on sale at Amazon for $249.89.HP Compatible Full Set of Q6000A Q6001A Q6002A Q6003A (B,C,Y,M) Color LaserJet Toner Cartridge (Color Laserjet 1600, 2600n, 2605) And, you can get real HP toner (OEM) for no more than $320 on Amazon or $324 from HP (free shipping).
This product cost me $295 with shipping. At 1,000 sheets for the set that amounts to $0.295 per sheet vs. $0.162 for HP at 2,000 sheet yield (not including higher yield on black). If I get 2,000 sheets it would be $0.147. If I get 2,500 sheets (as I am now told I will - see below) it will be $0.118.
They should fix the product details - why would anyone purchase this product, except to get a higher yield? Would you buy a generic if you knew you could purchase the brand-name version for 10% more and your cost per page would end up being less?
I was willing to take a chance and purchase a refill. I knew the quality might not have been 100%, and that was okay. I would not have purchased if it hadn't been for the significantly higher yield.
I wonder what the yield is of the $249 set shown above (manufactured to HP's specifications)?
****I spoke with my Seller - Best Source Office Supplies who checked with MIPO. It is a big company, and is supposed to be one of the better ones with refills. The colors are good so far. They think it is a chip issue and the cartridges will actually yield at least 2,500 pages or 25% more than OEM. We'll see, I am keeping them. If that is so, it would make them cheaper than $290 for an OEM set (CompUSA) ($0.118 vs. $0.145). Not as bad as I indicated above, but not a 5,000 page yield. If you want a good quality generic cartridge, this is probably it - and presumably most of the chips show the correct yield.

Conclusion: The color cartridges don't work Review: I ordered the package of four cartridges for the HP 1600. The black seemed to work somewhat ok, and started really fizzling out around page 1000. The color catridges seemed not to work at all, although blue did work some. I was severly disatisfied with this product.
