Conclusion: I bought it; I tried it; I sent it back. Review: I bought it; I tried it; I sent it back. This case is bulky, awkward to use, and provides limited protection. It is most unfortunate that this not-inexpensive camera is sold without a case of any kind, but this is certainly not a reasonable solution to that problem. Surely somebody is marketing a more useful case for the G9! I am still looking for it.

Conclusion: Best Case out there for the G9 Review: I bought this case, and it works great. It has a velcrow and magnetic button to secure case closure. It's tough leather, and fits nicely on the belt. It's not really designed for around the neck or shoulder carrying, but you could. There's no zipper like other cases and it's really easy to pop out of the case for a quick shot.

Conclusion: Bulky but convenient Review: Good to protect what you have. But it can be a bit cumbersome to carry around. Perhaps more rounded corners. But overall a decent attempt.

Conclusion: Good case Review: Much needed case for the G7 and G9 cameras. Attractive and rugged. Compact - not any larger than required. Includes optional clip on side case for spare battery and memory card.

Conclusion: Try The Psc 75 case Review: The Canon PSC-75 Deluxe Soft Case for PowerShot S1 IS, S2 IS, and G6 seems to work fine for the g9 and is cheaper. due to the slightly extra depth, there is plenty room for the neckstrap, and the small pouch inside works fine for an extra battery and sd card. I've really pushed it an managed to jam the charger in as well, but be careful not to scratch the motitor screen!!
