Conclusion: great underwater case
Review: Easy to use and it works very well. I can't believe the pictures I got with it, even while night snorkeling. It has a detachable diffuser for the flash and I was able to get clear brilliant pictures of lobster, octopus, and fish at night in the US Virgin Islands. It also allows you to access every feature of your camera with a series of buttons, including zoom, reviewing pictures, changing exposure, setting the special scene settings (there is one for underwater on the lumix dmc-fx01). It did seem like a hassle the first time I opened it, with having to put the grease on the o-ring, rinsing the case with fresh water after use, and placing the dessicant in the case with the camera, but it works so well that the little bit of inconvenience is worth it. I bought this case for a trip i recently went on in the British Virgin Islands. Underwater pictures came out great, and great for the beach as well as it keeps sand out. It does require about 5-10 minutes of care before and after using each day to keep clean and lubricated. But the picture's made it worth the little bit of prep time.

Review: Status showed Amazon had the cases in stock. Ordered it and received the entire rest of my order (camera, case, extra battery) and the underwater case projected ship date 1.5 months out. Canceled the order and ordered from B&H. Will be here next week! FYI - all the other pieces of the order shipped from other vendors that had great communication and super fast shipping. Evaluation:
