The Omni-Bounce creates a Diffused Bare Bulb Effect. Giving even coverage across the entire frame, with lenses from 15mm to 200mm in the 35mm format. (And equal in other formats as well.) The Omni-Bounce is easy to use and goes onto and off of your flash in seconds with custom fitting, except UNI, and No Velcro. Designed for years of service with out the bulk of some other Diffusers, it is small enough to fit easily into your gadget bag or pocket.

Conclusion: Not worth the hype
Review: With my Olympus FL-50 I really haven't noticed a great improvement in the quality of the flash with the Omni-bounce. If anything, it severely cuts the effectiveness of the flash and changes the color of the light so I have to alter the white balance in post processing. It stays in my bag more than it stays on my flash.

Conclusion: Great diffuser
Review: Direct flash produces dark, distracting, unrealistic shadows behind the subject, washes out shadows in the foreground and results in a flat-looking image. Instead of the hot spot in the middle of the photo with a fall-off of light around the edge, you can use the Sto-Fen Omni-Bounce and enjoy the benefits of diffuse, softer, more realistic lighting.
It slips easily on and off my Olympus FL50. I like to point the flash at an angle instead of directly at the subject. Bouncing this soft light off a nearby white surface works especially well.
