Measure from ball to pin, not ball to pine. The secret to a good round of golf is making accurate shots - not easy when the pin is competing with the trees around it for your rangefinder's attention. Next time, pack along the new PinSeeker. It's accurate to +/- one yard from 5 to 1, 500 yards away and will range directly to the flag, not the objects behind it. Review: Excellent product, but does require a steady hand at more than 125 yards from the flag due to 7 power optics. Have verified the distances shown using friends GPS units and found that it is most accurate.

Review: This range finder is terrific! I tried three others before I bought this one. All three failed because of inability to lock onto the pin. This finder locks on immediately and gives laser precision yardages to the pin. Fantastic. It's never wrong.

Review: I am throughly pleased with the performance of the range finder especially the slope calculator. It is great for the average golfer that knows how far they hit their individual clubs because this product will give you the confidence to pull it and hit it knowing you have chosen the right club. Now, if someone would invent a product that would tell me when I am aiming at the wrong target with my clubs I would be a much better golfer. Seriously, Bushnell has created a very good product.

Review: I looked at several different options for distance finders and ultimately decided on this model for two reasons 1) it is tournament legal for USGA events and 2) it is the most accurate of the golf rangefinder products on the market. If you are considering the GPS systems, remember that they are often off by 3-4 yards and don't give you an exact distance to the pin. I've stood by my friends with the GPS systems and ultimately I am always more accurate. In addition, you can't use the GPS systems in USGA events. Don't purchase the the model with a slope calculator because it isn't legal for use in USGA events.

This product is VERY beneficial on golf courses where the carts do not have GPS and yardage markers are few and far between. Don't know what we did without it!
