Conclusion: Damaged in shipping - Third time's a charm
Review: This is an extremely affordable screen, 1:1 aspect ratio, 70x70 inches viewable area. It does not have a reflective coating that increases brightness by narrowing the viewing angle. That feature costs more anyway, and this is an entry-level screen. Construction is cheap but good quality. However I returned two of them over the course of a month before I got one that survived shipping. These are really not packaged to survive UPS. Between bending in the middle and smashed ends(ruining the windup mechanism), you'll need to be persistent and patient. The third one worked and had only minor dents so I kept it. Think positively.

Review: We were very sad to open our package to a broken screen holder. The screen is fine itself but the thing that's suppose to hold it up was broken so we could not hang it.. Just poor shipping i guess...

Conclusion: Good screen for the price
Review: This is a nice screen for the price. I have it in my classroom and it is working well so far. On the negative side, the first 2 screens that were shipped to me were broken. The end caps were broken and the packaging was inadequate. Customer service, however, was great and there was no problem getting a replacement. In fact, the 3rd screen was delivered personally by a company rep who lives near my school. Overall I'm happy with the product.

Review: I opened the box to this elite screen placed it on the wall and immediately it began rolling down.The screen would not retract back to any position.I sent it back to the company.I also have a friend that has the same one with the same problem.they need to get rid of thes screens.

Review: Against my better judgement, I went with this model -- despite its scathing reviews. As soon as I opened it, I knew I was in for it. I could hear a ball bearing rolling around loose in the internal canister of the spool. I held it up, and the screen rolled right out with absolutely no tension whatsoever. Needless to say, it did not roll back up. I took off the end cap, and noticed right away that the plastic clutch drive was broken in half. I put the cap back on and called amazon. Fortunately, I ordered through Amazon -- as the gave no hassle whatsoever. I just packed it back up, and put it on my porch for UPS. They're sending me one more. If it works, cool. If not, I'm being refunded, and going with a different company. Buyer beware. If you're going to buy this one. Buy it through the Amazon warehouse. They are hassle free.
