This disc has a silver lacquer top surface, and a blue/green (cyanine) recording surface, with a maximum recording speed of 52x. It will work with Rimage Prism and Primera Inscripta printers. Its packaged in 100 pc cake box/spindles, and in master cartons of 600 pcs. This product is not designed to work in a Rimage Everest printer. This will work with screen printing. About Taiyo Yuden Taiyo Yuden is the best combination of quality and price available in a blank disc today. The simple reason is there is no better combination of high quality and great price. Hereâs a few things you need to know about Taiyo product: Taiyo Yuden made the first CD-R disc. They worked with Sony & Phillips as one of Japanâs largest chemical companies to make the dye which would store the data on the CD-R. Each disc is still made in Japan, in fact they are the only company in Japan that still makes CD-R, so if you see a âMade in Japanâ on any CD-R disc, be it an Sony, Fuji or Imation, you know its made by Taiyo Yuden.

Conclusion: Had no problems with these CD's
Review: They're pretty decent quality blank CD's. I've had no problems. Just remember both sides of the CD's are silver. With no letters on the CD's what so ever. Just plain blank media with no company name, or CD's type or length etc...

Conclusion: Probably not fakes
Review: It's a serious charge to suggest that these are "fakes". I wouldn't judge simply by what you expect to see written on the hub. It's easy to download a freeware program that will scan a blank disc and tell you all the details about it and it's manufacturer. Please do a legitimate test of them before you make that charge. I am more inclined to suspect a compatibility issue with your equipment.

Review: I bought these CDRs for making copies of CD+Gs for karaoke. CD+Gs can be very picky on quality and Taiyo Yuden works the best for me for this purpose. The copies will play in a lot more different karaoke players than other brands. I am very pleased with them. The only problem I had was the way the box was packed for shipment. The spindles were broken and one cakebox cracked, but the disks were not damaged.

Review: I know that Taiyo Yuden manufactures quality professional blank media but these are from from it. There is no proof on the CD hub that identifies them as Taiyo Yuden. Already I have had 2 out of 10 CDs that did'nt record any data during a live church service although the Tascam pro unit we use showed that recording was in process. Buyers beware!
