Conclusion: Not a Canon lense...
Review: This lense does as advertised, but it does not compare with the Canon lenses in how the mechanism moves or in optics. I use it for basic snapshot type stuff, but I use my Canon lenses for the photos that count. I would call this a good value for your money lense, but not the best.
