Conclusion: Awesome Strap, Real Confusing
Review: I picked this up locally after seeing it online. I was very excited to use it as I mainly used my supplied Canon strap to just wrap around my wrist. It works great, but can't make it as tight as I planned. If you make it tight fitting, you can't use your fingers to adjust any settings, only press the shutter. This is okay though, as the camera can still 'hang' from your hand when you're not using it.
It came with no instructions though, and it was quite confusing for me to figure out how to hook it up until I found some instruction pictures posted by a thoughtful blogger.

Conclusion: You gotta have a battery grip, if you want to use it
Review: I didn't know I should have a battery grip for using this. So if you guys want to use it and do not have a battery grip, don't buy this, otherwise, you should either return this product to the seller or need to buy a battery grip, which seems to me wagging the dog.

Conclusion: Use WITHOUT Battery Grip
Review: You can use this strap without having the battery grip attached by purchasing the Opteka hand grip since it includes a plate that screws to the bottom with a slot to thread the cord. This is what I have done as I prefer the Canon strap to the Opteka strap. Currently the Opteka strap on Amazon is only about $8, well worth it in my opinion to use this awesome strap instead when you don't need the battery grip.

Review: Comfortable. Does the job. Takes away that concern you might loose your grip.
As many others have already said, however, I wish the thing came with instructions.
