Check the time or temperature from the comfort of your bed with this atomic projection alarm clock from La Crosse Technology. Accurate to one-tenth of one second per day, the clock automatically adjusts itself for time and date using radio signals from the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Colorado. It also reads the temperature indoors and at one included remote unit, which can be mounted up to 80 feet away. Designed to shine the time or the temperature onto a wall or ceiling up to 10 feet away, the clock's projection arm includes 180-degree rotation, automatic focus, and adjustable intensity. It illuminates for three seconds on battery power and can be turned on constantly with the included AC adaptor. The clock also comes with a lot of nice extras, including a dual alarm with snooze, a push-button EL backlight, 12- or 24-hour time mode, and temperature readings in F or C. Conclusion: A few things that might have you scratching your head
Review: A lot of people have said good stuff about this, let me share a few things about this that are quite ridiculous:
1) The stupid remote sensor needs to be powered up before the clock itself. It means that when the remote sensor runs out of batteries, you need to cut power to the main unit as well then power on the remote sensor first and then the main unit. Not such a big hassle if your original settings were restored. But they aren't, so it means you need to reprogram the device each time the remote sensor runs out of batteries (i.e. if you intend using the remote sensor)
2) For some odd reason, the temperature being displayed in C or F is determined by the 12 hr or 24 hr clock setting. So, selecting 24 hr style clock will display the temperature in C while the 12 hr style clock will make the temperature get displayed in F. I like the 24 hr style clock and since I'm in USA, I'd prefer to see the temperature in F, but I can't since some nutcase at La Crosse decided this is how it should be.
3) The only temperature that can be projected is the remote temperature. The projection is not visible during daytime so I don't see the point of me seeing the outdoor temperature when I'm in my bed at night. The only temperature that interests me while I'm in bed is my room temperature. Since I can't customize it, I actually have started keeping the remote sensor inside my room only to get a rough indoor temperature.
4) The remote sensor under direct sunlight is way off. During the winter when I was in CO, I actually was using the remote sensor as a remote sensor only and during the daytime when it was actually below 40 F, the unit would show me temperatures of 80+ F for a few hours.
1,2 & 3 are things that can be easily changed but I guess they'll make such changes in the next version and price it 20 bucks higher.

Review: We've had this for about a month. Already own a LaCrosse weather station that is wonderful, so no complaints about the company. Setup was easy - the hardest thing was waiting for the rain to stop so I could hang the outside sensor. Time syncs to the atomic clock every night - it's the most accurate clock in the house. Projection is easy to read (8' ceilings) even with the glow from the TV.
I chose this over one from Hammacher Schlemmer that was $40 more expensive. Worth the money.

Review: I bought this clock shortly after being disappointed with the Homedics SS-5000 Sound Spa Projection Clock Radio with Atomic Clock and Indoor/Outdoor Temp- On Sale!. This is a much better clock than that one, but still has a few flaws. I bought the weather channel version of this clock(The Weather Channel WT-5432TWC Projection Alarm Clock with Forecast)thinking it was different than this one, but it turned out it was exactly the same only $20 more for the weather channel logo (don't be fooled).
Pros
-Great projection display at night (not too bright)
-Weather forecast is accurate
-The temperature is accurate and registers correctly
- There is a button on the clock to change the position and brightness of the projected time so you can project it anywhere
Cons
-The backlight on the clock only stays on for 3 seconds by pressing the snooze button, but this is a good thing because it would be too bright to sleep with at night if it was always on.
-The alarm isn't loud enough if you are a heavy sleeper and will shut off automatically after 90 seconds
- The clock was much smaller than I expected
- The buttons are hard to press
Although the clock has its flaws, it does everything it claims to do. I like mine.

Review: Several years ago my daughter gave me one of these clocks for Christmas. I have found it to be a terrific gift, as I can see what the weather is like before I arise. In fact, we recently purchased 4 others to give our children. We even had to get another one for our second home!

Review: We are really enjoying our new weather station. It has many features that we like a lot. It's nice to know what the outside temp is as soon as I wake up and having it projected on the ceiling in the bedroom is a nice feature. The dual alarm is also a nice feature. Plus, it has a variable snooze that can be set from 0 to 59 minutes. The accuracy of the clock is impeccable since it's set via a radio signal from the atomic clock. I would recommend this product to anyone considering purchasing a weather station. It's a good value for the money, too.
