Conclusion: The Husband Review: This is a true story of the perfect kind of love that anyone would want in a marriage.
A simple gardner, Mitch Rafferty, gets a disturbing phone call from a stranger stating that he has his wife, Holly. Mitch is confused, devastated, and the stranger then tells him that he has less than 3 days to come up with $2 million in cash. Meanwhile, a pedestrian is shot and killed when Mitch dives to take cover. The detective on the case seems to point his finger toward Mitch but more and more twists are told to us.
Mitch only has $11,000 in his checkings and will do anything and everything to get his wife back. Is that enough though?
As the tale spins in this story, Mitch's simple family life seems more than just simple. We learn many unexpected twists and Koontz will keep you up all night long reading this novel full of twists and turns.

Conclusion: My Hero Review: This book is fun. Koontz drops you into the dilemma on page one and the action charges on from there. I found myself thinking, "This character's smart. What else could such a simple man do in this mess?" Mitch, the main character, is a hero. -Stephen Prins, author of: Strife of the Lorin

Conclusion: My Favorite Koontz So Far... A Perfect Novel Review: What can I say? "The Darkest Evening" left me mystified and discontent, "The Good Guy" had moments of sheer brilliance upset by disjointed character development and some tacky dialogue... "The Husband" is absolutely perfect. I haven't read a book this year that kept me this riveted, pumped and inspired. If you like suspense, romance and intrigue, this is a book you'll never forget.

Conclusion: New Style from Koontz Review: "This book was a little out of genre for Koontz. It reads more like a Harlan Coben novel. However, since I love Coben AND Koontz, once I got over looking for 'Koontz trademarks', I really enjoyed this book.
No, there are no aliens or supernatural stuff. But, there is a great storyline with a good surprise.
Try it. If you really like it, go buy some Harlan Coben books, they will be right up your alley."
